To be honest I’ve played practice just to complete a club challenge. Playing a basic ball and hitting into the rough so I can use a junglist (or whatever useless club) is a dead giveaway. To get the reward you do have to hole out. I normally forfeit once I’ve gotten the data I was looking for in practice but that is once I’ve entered the tournament so I’m working with tournament winds. I think PD gives replays that always hole out. If I think I’m playing with a live player, I’ll putt off and hit back to landing zone or tee and hope they follow suit. Just my 2 cents.
