This cinches it. Makes your teaching make sense to me. It makes the “Look” of the swing make sense.👍⛳️

I've learned there's a lot more psychology in golf that I ever imagined. I've even had to create a few new terms.

@@longpathtopar.7473 Other instructors make the false assumption that people do what they do because they want to but really it's a result of what they're trying to do which is incorrect intent. Everyone would make the proper motions once they understand how the club actually works and have the proper intent.

The maximum power contributed to drive the club is the extension (straightened)of the trailing elbow. The mechanism is to contract the triceps to pull the beak at the end of the ulna. However, it requires some conditions. First the upper arm should be locked by the Teres miner/major on the outer side of the scapular to prevent bounce back. Second, the motion of ulna should aligned with the seat of beak. Third, the adduction of the upper arm should be controlled by the serratus anterior that pull the scapular then the upper arm toward the body center. This makes the shoulder rotator actually moved to another direction.

Interesting perspective. Although, I think you mean “abduction” rather than “adduction.” From what I understand from what you’ve written you’re under the impression that the golf swing is actively controlled by active and intentional muscular control. As common as this idea is, I believe it to be false. The simply fact that it’s literally impossible to actively and intentionally control all facets of the swing in the millisecond it takes to perform a golf swing as well as the simple fact that young children who know nothing about physics or the golf swing learn to use a golf club properly in less than an hour, I believe, prove this idea to be false. I think everyone knows and believes that there is a simpler way and there is. All you have to do is swing it in the proper direction, which is not the direction you’d think, and it works automatically. I you think about it, the golf club is ~1000 years old and after all that time of R&D - if it didn’t work automatically, what the hell have golf club designers been doing all this time?

A golf club was meant to be a throw to throw. With shoulders tilted. I hit it so solid when I figured it out

It's Alex from ElevenLabs. I think this is the last time I'll use it. It's so hard to get the script right and get the A.I. to read it correctly.
