Golf Course Flyovers: The Best of 2017 - #1

This past year we managed to film flyovers of almost 1,000 holes of golf. We took a look at all the holes and decided to bring you guys the top 5 flyovers that we filmed this past year.
What was our rating methodology? We couldn’t really tell you. We picked flyovers that resonated with us. These five holes have overwhelming beauty and offer a unique challenge that you won’t find on many other holes.
Hole 1!
Drumroll! Our favorite hole in 2017 goes to hole number 9 at Old Corkscrew Golf Club in Estero, Florida. At the moment, it is the only course we have filmed designed by the great Jack Nicklaus. Again, at the moment.
Although the course is just minutes from a major highway, it is in the middle of nowhere. At no point throughout your round will you hear cars, barking dogs, or sirens. When they say you are immersed in nature, they mean it.
While they have several holes that were contenders in our top five countdown, their showcase hole, number 9, is what stood out to us. Not only is it long and difficult, but it is absolutely gorgeous. The fairway is stripped better than most Premier League soccer fields. The approach requires world class precision. And the greens call for the best of touches.
