Good video I brought one of these last year you can go into sports mode from tapping the gear leaver down once & it turns into a completely different car & is more responsive plus gears down change quicker when breaking. when you have the radio on you can’t hear the engine

They’re a great car especially in this colour with the pan roof, but my only gripe is, as an auto if you floor it from standstill it axel tramps like a bit#h!!! It’s ok once you’re on the move and if it was a manual you could feather the clutch on launching from standstill. Otherwise the seats are amazingly comfy and it’s so easy to drive 👍 If l had the money I’d buy an R but then it would probably be stolen within a month as it’s one of the most stolen cars in the UK, whereas the GTD will still be on your drive!

First golf I got was mk 7 gold R sick car but feels like a video game to easy with the AWD. Then I got the mk7.5 gti performance trc and that was a total different beast, thoroughbred gti was beautiful. I now have gtd with a map at 240bhp with dsg and it doesn't 50mpg great car but no gti.
