@@lyragolf9428 Over the years, I've have seen plenty of scores well over 100 from players who've been at the game a lot longer than a year. So your friend has nothing to be ashamed about. Lessons & Practice followed up with a lot more practice and watch the scores come down. Good Luck!

This is why I've always loved match play. It allows you to spare yourself some embarrassment. I'd pick the ball up and move on to the next tee box, instead of making myself look like an amateur.

That drive from the 13th tee to the 7th green, priceless.

I hit some balls in Austin today and I can tell you the wind was crazy . The wind channels through the lake and hits the course pretty hard . Tommorow and the rest of the week is supposed to be calm . Golf is hard !

This is a breath of fresh air for every twice a year duffer like me. My folks had a lakehouse at nearby Horseshoe Bay and one of their championship golf courses, Ram Rock is like Austin Country club or worse. It is an undulating nightmare with creeks on both sides of nearly every fairway. And that’s the easy part! 🤣
