About your drive on hole 3, Liam I was thinking like Mr Barlow and had just said to the video "Be careful of that big tree on the right". When you hit it I bowled over in laughter (just like you do when Barlow does something similar) and I felt like I was one of your golf mates and with you all there. Great post mates. Liam, I am an American southerner. We have a saying, " sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear gets you". That was a tough day on the course. But as we also say re golf, "you don't own it, you rent it". I really like your series. We travel twice a year to golf in europe. We were in Ireland in April, and head to Scotland and Spain in August. We were in Pinehurst for the US Open, 2 weeks ago, and return this week to play. I love the hidden gem series, and we find some of our own in Ireland and Scotland. Very hot and dry here, had a little rain for the 1st time in 3 weeks.

If Pat and Pete had won 5 and 4 as they should have done we would not have seen Liams great chip in and his excellent recovery shots from his drives, he did get a lot of practice at these which will stand him in good stead until he gets his drives straight again. Great fun, thanks everyone.

Really enjoyed watching the pensioners put the hammer down on poor Liam. Liam, I know how you're feeling as right now, I'm in the middle of the most severe slump I've ever experienced. Can't seem to hit driver, can't seem to putt and nearly everything in between is a disaster. Today was a little better. I figured out why I'd been topping the ball with my driver, but I'm not getting the distance I'm used to. Anyway, a very entertaining video of the highs and the lows of golf. Aloha!

Understandable why you should feel your game is not there, but on a other day it can come together it just got into your head today. Great video to show some great recovery shots considering where the drives had finished, every cloud has a silver lining is the best takeaway from this.

One of off days with the driver-when i used to play with a driver,it did happen but straight away id go to a long iron be it 2,3 or 4. A super 4 iron tee off too. But a great video and great golf boys
