Hi good day sir, why would i get a oil and petrol mix coming out from air filter housing. I was driving around 140ks then to puffs of smoke came out exhaust.. Then i saw smoke, but it was the oil burning on manifold. The airfilter housing was full of oil. It was a considerable amount of oil coming out. It has stopped how ever it is dry now, and there is no smoke coming from exhaust when i rev only water .. The caddy was also stalling when i was braking an i adjusted the idle screw. It has stopped cutting off now at the robot.. Gosh all in one day.. Your advice would be amazing!! I love your channel😊

Hi PJ. I drive a Mk2 carb KS2. Mine is connected to what I think is the Choke diaphragm thingy...do you think one should remove it?

My Mk2 KS2 carb has a second diaphragm for my choke thingy located just at the bottom of this thingy. Theres a rubber pipe connected from the choke diaphragm to this part/diaphram.

hello can I completely remove that and it's lever ? does that affects the working of carb ? another question there is a flathead brass screw behing the 2nd stage pump (left side of carb if you are facing car front) is it for floater adjust?

Thank you. I replaced the carb base plate and found this pipe to be blocked. Replaced it with a new pipe and since my choke has not been working. Driving me crazy. I will go check this in the morning. Thank you🙏
