good video...I found distances way off compared to my regular game...easy fix for me thou. I turned off the training club and told the app I was using a real club...which I was not. My distances are now very very close to real world using the provided swing stick. I also found using an HDMI to usb cord to direclty connect my tv to my samsung made a world of difference to the graphics. Hope this helps someone to give it another try.

I think there are some setting adjustments you can make to help get the distances more accurate.

My buddy just got one . love it . Pretty accurate honestly. You're talking like you hit the ball 300 yards tho, I'm not seeing it. Velocity of your swing looks like you should be hitting the driver 220/240yds.

Man. I spent 2 months looking for a video like this. And NOW!! After I went and bought it I get this video in my news feed. The putting sucks! I've measured it with my real putter and a ball and it is so off..

@@NewNineGolflol.. hey... Im disgruntled!!.. So disgruntled that I spent the entire day trying to figure out the problem with putting.. I think I'm on to something!!!.. they play in Metric down there!!. Go into settings and turn on Metric.. then if its a 10 foot putt ? That is pretty darn close to 3 meters!!. Now back to the Phigolf driving range with my notebook to get my yarda.... my distances!!! The light bulb moment was when I tried the putter at the driving range.. it said to putt 8 feet.. but the cup was 27 feet away!!!..

Hey mate, great review and thanks. I think what people need to look at this like is a game that’s going to bring loads of fun in a home. I don’t think it’s meant to be a 100% accurate launch monitor. They cost 💰 so this is really pretty cool for what it is I think

Just a little warning if you use this alot without touching your real clubs. Lmao. I played for the first time and pulled my driver out and swung it. OMG! I never felt so lost swinging a club in my life. My driver felt 10 feet long and really heavy. Just a weird feeling. It took 4 or 5 holes to feel normal again. I did shoot 78 that day. Phi golf is cool but be aware when you go back to real golf.

Hey great video! I just picked one up but am having a heck of a time getting the sensor in the end of the swing stick. Did you just force it? I’m just worried if I force it much more it might break.

Thanks! Ya I had to force it in. You just twist. But I know sometimes there's extra layers of tape under the grip from when they installed the grips. You may have to try to poke something thru the small hole first to get through the tape. Don't know if that makes sense.

So your reply to him is then to be understood as: "my normal 6 iron swing is almost twice as fast, but I can't do that with this trainer club, so I'm going to do a 40% swing. But I'm going to expect that swing to still be 200 yds, y'all"? Either you do normal swings, or you swing easy-which is fine for this application I guess-and just come clean and say "let's stay around 60% and try to have fun".

i have never used phigolf... but i compared your swing in this video to a driving Iron review video you did, and i don't see the same acceleration when you are using the phi golf ....still believe wildly inaccurate? i certainly could be wrong

If you swing as hard as real life your shoulder is toast. I was swinging at roughly 75%. Even still wildly inaccurate.

I got this, the distance is just a manipulation of the speed. The speed sensor is not so bright. It varies too much, I compared it down at the range vs my garmin S80. Basically head speed and ball speed is measured by the garmin, which is actually pretty damn good. The sensor was 30mph off even with a real club stating the ball went 180 yards and you see the real ball flying out to 230-240 yards and that garmin saying 96mph 137 ball speed etc ... it just is unplayable. Having said all of that, the path, tempo and face angle are interesting I would say a little exaggerated but that might be because of the club position and the swing stick position. They could be quite useful to help get the swing plane on line. But otherwise for me just frustrating and I may just eBay it off ... it’s not good enough on the speed which is one of the easiest parts to do.

@@NewNineGolf I doubt it, I suspect they put the cheapest sensor in without checking the quality control of the supplier. So we have ended up with a random speed sensor.

@@NewNineGolf that 7 iron is 27 degree loft, it is like my 5 iron Titleist T100. Sorry, but with that speed you were swinging and a traditional lofted 6 iron under normal conditions you may be getting 175yds.

The Marvrik Pro 7 iron is 30.5. I actually play the ap2 so same specs are your t100s. Those are on my radar too. Love the looks. Not sure if you're talking the phigolf swing speed or the foresight. The phigolf swing speed numbers aren't accurate. Either way, We're all trying to enjoy the game and I would hope I know my own distances lol. The swing speed and all stats for that matter are completely inaccurate. My actual swing speed is over 100mph with a 6 iron. Check out my 2020 Callaway iron review to see my 7 iron stats. We got a seven iron over 210 yards 😉

Not laying off. Realistically the only times I know what my swing speed is when I'm on a trackman or a gc. I just go off of what I hit my clubs on the course that's what I'm concern about when playing golf. Swing speed doesn't mean much unless I'm trying to show the data for reviews. I have Apple TV and am trying to stream from my IPhone to my Apple TV. Have many other sport apps that can stream right to my Apple TV but not seeing how Phigolf can be done. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's challenging because youre using the same training club for a driver or a wedge. I feel like I'm making the same swing as I would a real 6 iron but I think either the club doesnt allow me to swing as fast or the sensors are inaccurate. Pick up one and test it.
