A buddy wanted to have his birthday party on a golf course. We booked a 9 hole course for 4 groups (16 players). We all put up 100 bucks with the winner getting $1500 and the second place breaking even. The catch was that everyone had to take a shot at every tee box and was given a beer they had to finish before they finished that hole. After 4 holes, I don’t think anyone was even playing golf anymore. I actually don’t even remember finishing the round.

Tbh I don’t fully understand the appeal. If I was rich and wanted a cool picturesque outdoor sport, climbing soccer kayaking etc come to mind above golfing. But I’ve never tried so I cant actually say. For that matter skiing too.
