One of the best stories from my time in Cyprus with British Army: A Private by the name of Tidwell found himself in hot water and in the Sgt Major's office facing a royal telling off. The ribbing concluded with the Sgt Major holding his pace stick with the brass tip not 1 inch from Tidwell's face and said "There's a c*** on the end of this pace stick!" Private Tidwell, calm as you like, responds "Not this end Sir". 🤣 Think he got a week of AGAIs (Jankers) for that one.
