Yeah Grayson was +5 on the round what would be 1 shot outside the cut line. It feels like a mind punch. I think word was getting around to the players. At one point Davis Riley was -15 and had a 7 shot lead. Bogeys 9 and 10 (when we found out) and birdie 16. Scottie had the best moving round day. Ted Scott is a damn good caddie. He should get the credit of keeping Scottie in the zone for sure. He was at 14 when we knew. I could tell players knew cause they were missing shots that they normally would make. A lot of them werent taking advantage of the back 9 when its the easiest 9. Im with Rick. Colin Morikawa confused me. He got a 29 on the back 9 and eeked out a -3. Im amazed in a good way that its a match play between Davis and Scottie. Scottie may have to repeat that same round tomorrow. All Davis has to do is shot a 67 if not 66 and maybe -17 could be a playoff and -18 would get it done outright. I think the CBS team there should be credit for how they handled today. I think Scottie didnt know till he finished the round. They wanted him to talk to Amanda Balonis but he declined once he knew. It provided for an interesting discussion on X. It was a shocker to see them keep going. There might be an asterik next to this win cause they finished this tournament knowing that Grayson died. We dont know how all the players feel. Peter Malanti came back after posting +4 to react with Amanda and he obviously was shaken. He and Adam Schenk played the first 2 rounds with Grayson. Hopefully after the winner is crowned Mark can hop on and give us his thoughts on Grayson and how it was on site when word got around.

While awareness on Mental Health and Addiction is Very Important, the cause of Grayson’s Passing is unknown. Its unusual and sad circumstance to say the least. Its difficult to speculate on why a 30yr old Athelete would feel ill and then just die. My T&P to His Family & Friends. Amazing Grayson how sweet the sound…. No Birdie, No Eagle, but now An Angel… Fly High Big Guy, Fly High. 🙏🏼🪽

His poor fiancé, what must she be going through. She helped him become sober and restart his career. I assume that she was the person who found him when he died. So very sad for her, his family, friends, fellow golfers, his caddie. RIP Bryson.

The commentators were in an impossible position, trying to be enthusiastic about the golf with the knowledge of what happened with Grayson, i watched because his family wanted the tournament to continue but it was not easy viewing
