First off, Great job covering the Ryder Cup for all of us. There was a strategy the way the course was laid out. It required driving the ball straight and not relying on being able to hit the ball long and out of the rough. So many of USA tournaments are played on courses that don't punish you for your driving accuracy. I believe all the Euro's knew very well how to prepare for the layout of the course. Thanks again guys. And Patrick, what were you thinking of giving out your email. I gasped when you did it!

Great show folks - really well done. As a European fan I can confirm that we were absolutely stoked that the US team did not include Bryson or DJ given the course set up included several short/drivable par 4’s and elevated greens where a high ball flight and spin control are paramount..Homa and Cantlay were simply outstanding for you and we all know the challenge ahead to retain in 2 years time.

Good post. The Ryder Cup may be over and it delivered as always!!! Loads to digest and discuss BUT I have to say the following: Hunter Mahan - you are the mutts nuts! Left field for me!!!!! Let me explain. He was a very good golfer indeed - wins on the PGA Tour and Ryder Cup appearances are testament to this. I am not aware of what he has been doing for the last few years. I do believe he is one of the unfortunate sportsmen that can be known by those who are too young or maybe new to golf or general sport fans, and even those who love and follow golf, for his duff chip at the Ryder Cup hosted at Celtic Manor, Wales in 2010. It was the 17th hole, final day and the duff resulted in him losing his match. Honestly, it is the first thing I will say if his name is mentioned. NOT ANYMORE!!!!!! I was honestly not expecting to hear Hunter commentate much and thought he would be average. SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH. He was brilliant!!!!!!!! Played the balance well, informative, humorous, honest, relevant, and a breath of fresh air. Please tell me he has been hired for the PGA Tour !!! I didn't and don't know he commentated - I DO NOW!!!!

Oh please - the real problem was Koepka. He ruined the vibe. He's not one of the boyz. Europe didn't have any LIV traitors and won easily. Ergo you do the math.

At the same time the role of captain is an impossible situation to fullfill. It's damned if you do, damned if you don't. And I wasn't happy with Thomas and Burns being selected as they both had horrible seasons, but Zack Johnson would have received probably even more flack if he didn't pick Thomas. Then on the other side of the coin Luke Donald gets ripped for picking Lowry over Meronk.... but in all actuallity if you go over both players seasons looking at every event Lowry beats out Meronk on merit (Meronk was insanely inconsistent and missed the cut on his 7 biggest tournaments of his season 5 times, which is horrendous). BTW I'm very neutral as to what team I root for... I tend to root for players I like as opposed to teams, but I do find it suspicious that much of team America was sick going into this. That's one hell of a coincidence if it was merely a coincidence.

New US cup selection process: All 12 spots based on points, if you want to play you'll find a way. Travel planners will serve as captains. Brooks Koepka will only play his own ball, fourball and singles. All 12 players will draw straws to determine who will participate in the duel, I mean foursomes.

Why do you think those exhibition golfers who doesnt compete on a high level anymore would do any better? They play shorter tournaments, on easier courses and conditions, and shorter roughs, easier greens and pin positions against has-beens and players who cant c9mpete on the hoghest level. You do know Koepka and Thomas got the same points 1.5 right 😂 ?

Looks like best case scenario is 2031 for the USA to break the away losing streak. In 2027 in mythical Ireland with the partisan crowd I can’t see the USA winning. No matter what the make-up of the teams is.

Let it be known that very few people really care about the Ryder Cup.....obviously the "American" players didn't...."Europe" won and then they all jumped on their planes and flew back to the US where they all live.....just the the PGA tour, divide it in half and let them play team golf
