Great job Matt, back to basics. Stay away from the trouble, don't be afraid if you find trouble. Chip close, make those 1 putts or 2 putts maximum. Practical advice for 95% of us to shoot lower scores. Thanks.

Been watching your videos for at least a year now. Some of the best stuff out there! Well shot videos, superb editing, humour, and straight up knowledge amateurs can use to enjoy the game. Love and appreciation from Canada!

Brillant video my friend, the key here, like I tell my friends who are afraid of bunkers, it's to hit hit a bucket out of the bunker And get comfortable with the bunker shot and stop saying " oh s..., I landed in a bunker, I'm going to die" versus " I landed in a bunker unfortunately, but I now get to hit a kool shot". Thank you for sharing.

I learned the bump and run from you playa, i had a good summer last year because of it. Loving your bunker practice too, learned that from you as well but need to practice... when the Rona lets us out, I’ll be practicing exactly what you’re showing us here... keep being the BAUS Mattski.

Hi Matt, just love revisiting these videos as reminders on how to get the best out of my game. Strange thing is that despite all the great tips in this one, I'll always find myself shouting 'take more than one ball out of the box' when you are greenside chipping!. Drives me nuts! Thanks for all these great videos and being the main reason why my game has improved so much this past year.

Gold Matty, Gold! Everything here is spot on. So true, even 15 to 20 minutes of bunker work is great and once you feel comfy in them, you magically don't go near them!!! You just gotta 'Slap that Pig' with the right hand, fully commit and connect behind the ball. Chipping advice is gold too, I just need to get better at listening to you regarding placement of my approach shots, I tend to just try to get it close to the flag, but that's not always best. Great video BAUS!!!

Played my first round of the spring this week. I heeded your chipping advice and had probably my best short game ever. Definitely shaved stokes and had one of my lowest scoring rounds ever. Nice warm up round to start off the season. Amen brother!

"Don't be like Patrick Reed" Those are the words of a total BAUS. Man the last time I signed the card on a tournamet I learned a very important lesson, I wrote my score just below my mate's and when the lady asked me for the count I miscounted because I read a high number from above and that added 4 strokes to my total score and costed me my 3rd place medal. Life lesson number X: Write down your score at least 2 rows away from the other player, that way you don't misread the while counting. May seem stupid but when it happens to you, life hits hard

Love your work. I try to do this... emphasis on "try". My brain often comes up with a more extravagant shot that doesn't end well often. My new strategy is to purposly miss the green in a good area... maybe i get lucky and miss my spot on the green side and have a putt. That takes the flag out of play. Since i'm only a 10 handicap if I get up and down a bit, i can still play to handicap like this and practice lots of chipping. Good plan anyways.

Practice... I enjoy it more than a round. You calibrate after a few shots and start getting it close. Consistently. I used to play with a guy that worked one summer in our firm, Good golfer, we'll call him Jimmy. Jimmy played college golf at HBU and was their number 1 seed, second on the team was a fellow named Colin Montgomerie who later went on to win I think 9 orders of merit on the European tour. Anyway we were playing one day and 192yard par 3 with the wind blowimg 15 mph off the right. He pulls a 6 iron and hits this beautigul fade to about two feet. I said that was amazing, how do you do that? He dropped another ball and hit the same shot this time to within one foot of the cup. Seriously, how do you do that? He tells me that twice a week he would hit 100 6 iron fades in practice. He says, Do you practice like that? Guy was on a total different level and I was like a 5hcp at the time. Anyway, get in the bunker and the practice green and practice your ass off, Be a Bauss like Matt told you. Matt, I am going to need to order one of those shirts, Are the sizes normal? I'm 5'10" amd abut 175 lbs. What size do you recommend.
