I have been early extending and hitting a lot of toe shanks lately. This has been the most effective tip in terms of beginning to eliminate my early extension. I didn’t realize how much I kicked up my right heal until I saw this. On camera I am still early extending a bit however I am hitting the ball much more flush and no more toe shanks!

Toe shanks, I’m hitting everything to the heel almost in danger of hosel rockets. Same problem though. So frustrating.

Hi Len, sorry to year your experience wasn't like this, our apologies. How long ago was it when you took your lessons? What do you feel was missing vs what you just watched in this video?
@lenfloth36362 жыл бұрын
My instructor watched me swing. At the end gave my videos to watch. Did not work with me or show me how to do the drills to make sure I was doing them right. Finished lessons with same faults I was hoping to have corrected. It's now been several years since I took them. Thanks for the follow up.

Hi Len, again apologies for your poor experience. We are always striving to improve at the service we offer and our quality control. I would say over the last few years the training of our coaches has really improved. Please let us know if you ever want to give us another shot and we can help you out.

Great video everyone. I subscribe to Hailey's channel and it is very relatable having two great people in the same video. Golftec doesn't put out many videos, but they are full of straight to the point information. I need to see if there is one in my area.

Hey Golftec! I also early extend and wondering whether I should use this drill or bum against a wall/chair drill?

This works great without needing to drag a chair around but if your at home doing some mock swings in the house the chair works great 👍🏼

Would love to see a video on how to prevent sliding ! I side and have to throw my arms at the ball and hit a lot of thin shots.
@GOLFTECLessonsFittings2 жыл бұрын
Hey Edward, I you referring to sliding your hips or your head or both, and are you talking backswing or downswing? We do have some videos on all those mentioned and I can add the link here if you help me understand what specifically you are referring to when you say slide. Thanks

Corey’s a right arm thrower and having your right heel off the ground at p5-6 has nothing to do with early extension just look at all the bombers
@GOLFTECLessonsFittings Жыл бұрын
It's more about keeping it down to about P5.5 but to keep it down longer or not would be more of a question as to what your miss is and what goals your shooting for

she is casting after this BS keep your heel down stuff. golftec ruined by friend's swing too, know why? cuz people like him don't really understand the golf swing. but rather tries to put you into static positions and you can trick the camera to read different angles by making the wrong moves. this in turn will cause unnatural movements and injury in the long run. our bodies automatically compensate for moves we make. you have to teach the person how to "feel" the correct swing, and once you get this feel, the body naturally does what it should and you don't have to PUT someone into these static positions. that's why people who've gone through golftec have the weirdest looking swings, although my sample size is rather small.
