Aimee I was struggling with this recently. After watching your 2 part lesson and doing the drills, I shot 78 today. My average score was 86. Thank you so much. Best lessons I’ve seen

Following your well explained instructions I am just back from the practice area. And I am very pleased as after practicing your drills on how to cure the dreaded shank I played just about every 6 & 8 iron with a slight draw. You really are such a delight in the manner you explain & demonstrate how to get the best from us average but keen golfers. Let me know the next time you are planning to come to the UK for a tournament & I will be there to support you! cheers Thomas

Great tip! I had a mini shank today and realized right away I didn't lead with my lower body, after that I hit the ball straight, then I saw your 2 videos that confirmed what I thought was the problem, thanks!

A great 2nd part to your two part shank video. You explain things very clearly. Next step is to try out what you taught in those two lessons and try to incorporate all of those elements into my swing.

This is one of the best videos and in it....drill for the sequencing of the golf swing and using the core to make your swing you have Aimee. I am not a shanker….haven't been a shanker in 40 years but I love this drill for swing plane, sequencing, balance, and staying in posture. It works for all the swings too from the small swing to full swing....including chipping. This drill is one of my favorites you have shown me for sure.

This is a great refinement of an idea I have had some success with lately. I only wish that I had known it long ago. It's really amazing that swinging with the body instead of the arms can improve the entire game.

Once again awesome video 2 part series..I had a bad case of the shank n slices and followed your vids and practiced at home first with the hand drills then went to the range and practiced more with my clubs following your instruction. I can honestly say after 1 practice bucket of balls my swing is way better and I've said bye bye to my shanks n slices!:) I've watched several other vids on KZbin and rate these 2 as the best and highly recommend to others to just try and practice Aimee's drills and I'm sure you'll have that same success! Cheers and thanks a bunch Aimee!:)

Hi Aimee, I wanted to personally thank you ever so much for resolving my newly developed shank ! I watched your 2 part tuition video on how to stop shanking and it was so easy to follow and more importantly understand how it had occurred. My game had started to deteriorate a couple of weeks ago when I started fade/slicing, which I had never done before, I hit it relatively straight. Then over a weekend of competitions at my club, I started shanking, which had never happened to me before and resulted in disastrous scores. I realised after watching your video that I had started using my arms in transition and getting ahead of my body turn, causing the initial left to right shots followed inevitably by the shanks. I have just returned from the range and used your drills and hit the ball pure and off the sweet spot with every one of the 75 balls. I can’t thank you enough. Where are you based just in case I pass nearby on my travels.

I’m going to try these drills out when I go to the range I developed the shanks about a month ago after striking the ball the best I ever had and shooting low 80s every round now I shank every shot and look like I have never swung a club before. I’ve almost quit golf it’s been that bad. My body feels very disconnected right now.

Question: Chipping has been my biggest problem in my game for about 10 years. It is winter here and so I can practice hitting chips in my basement of about 10 yards. I noticed when I felt the stretch like a rubber band in my left upper arm muscle, my chipping feels better. You shared this in this video. I like the ball flight and center hit in my face and I am using the bounce of club much better by feeling the stretch. My question to you is should I feel that stretch in my upper left arm even on chips? Am I correct in my assumption? thanks in advance.
