Hey... I became nostalgic when u said the movie- Sound of Music was shot in Salzburg. I remember, I was in class 12th when this movie came to theaters in India. We had a whole chapter on the "Sound of Music" in class 12th English text book so our English Teacher told us to go and see this movie. I went alone to theater to see this movie as none of my classmate's parents allowed them. Thank you Girly for this lovely information...! :-)

Im really surprised you didnt like Halstatt that much. Me and my wife visited in sept 2019 and fell in love with this place. It is one of the most beautiful places in europe. Definately worth a visit. Just my opinion

You can get it at the hotel you're staying. Majority of the hotels provide city cards. If not, then there are a lot of tourist helps near city centre.

I have personally been to Salzburg ans loved the scenic view. Basically if you travel to Salzburg there is no need to go and visit Hallstat as the view is more or less the same. The food is not that much tasty but still it is ok.

I feel whenever u go abroad as a tourist, dont convert the price of foods in Rupees. Just have it. Coz woh particular food usse kum mein nahi milega. Otherwise u will just end up eating at McD’s everytime.

I don't usually convert. However, a lot of people might want to know an estimate amount of how much they should carry with them while they are traveling so this comes handy. Hallstat is expensive. And I compared the pizza prices to Salzburg and Vienna, not with India:)
