I were going to type something in Japanese to express my love to this tune! But I changed my mind since my Japanese is horrid. The guy at 1:12 with the shades makes me so happy! Woop-Woop! Love the expression! Heart, Mike from Sweden!

The Swastika is actually a symbol for good luck, and it's widely used in eastern cultures with that meaning. Lots of temples around Asia use it and has nothing to do with the Nazi movement. Hitler apropriated it for having some relation with the arian people hundreds of years ago and, for that, it's the symbol most related with the nazi movement on western countries. check wikipedia article on it for more information =)

すごいビデオ!ありがとうございました。 The symbol is called 'manji', meaning whirlwind. It's a reverse manji (called 'gyaku manji' or 'ura manji'). The manji symbolizes Dharma, harmony, & balance. The gyaku manji represents intellect & strength. Do a search for 'manji symbol' or '逆卍' for more info. Or, like lcselbach said, check wikipedia.

@An3Ramone What you say is true in most western countries, but think that it's like they live in a world where the Swastika has very little or even no relation to racism or totalitarism at all. It's true that for european and americans alike it's unthinkable to use this symbol as something positive, so much that there are laws on several western countries that forbid the use of the Swastika in any way. It's all about cultural background, and ours differs from theirs in this aspect.
@bosssoundbob17 жыл бұрын
so the swastika or manji is older than wat we think it really stands for. cuz i thought the dud ewas a nazi at first. thanx for the heads up

the bassist is got a Che Guevara T-shirt haha that`s nice, and about the shirt... well yeah that`s actually an asian symbol so it might not mean nazi like, also, if you get something about ska and/or punk history and all that stuff you might know that it will be something stupid that this music generes include nazi people sooooo... ja not nazi
@dinkydoink17 жыл бұрын
you guys, i know that guy and he is not nazi, thats for sure!
@ShizuokaDolphin17 жыл бұрын
Not really - in Japan that symbol is more asscociated with Bhuddist Temples than Nazi Germany. You see it all over the place over here - it's a totally normal symbol. He probably didn't even think twice about wearing that t-shirt as Western ideas on what is offensive don't rule the rest of the world.
