Golzernsee Switzerland 4K Maderanertal Mountain Lake Uri

Golzernsee in the Maderanertal is a wonderful mountain lake in Switzerland. The lake is located in the canton of Uri at 1411 metres above sea level. Golzernsee is surrounded by wonderful nature and serves as a bathing lake in summer. Alp Golzern can be reached by cable car from Bristen and from the mountain station to the lake it is a 1.4 kilometre walk.
The Maderanertal is one of the wildest alpine valleys in Switzerland and is little known to tourists. The valley captivates with its clear streams and lakes, glaciers and beautiful alpine flowers.

Yes, in summer you can picnic and swimming there 😃 The water is always pretty fresh and the lake is not really deep 😉 Oh, Sanur beach is also a paradise!
