Pokegama Lake is 1,052 acres and is located in Vilas County of Wisconsin. You can find walleyes, northern pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, and muskies here. For panfish, you will find the usual mix of crappies, bluegills, and perch.
The water is clear and there is a good mix of weeds, along with a sand, gravel, rock and muck. There is a good cisco population, so the fish are well fed in this lake. In fact, there are many record fish that come from here including, a 59-pound 11-ounce muskie, and a 7 foot, 195-pound lake sturgeon.
