Oh god LMAOOO, GG and I are reminded of the same thing when we hear 50 Shades, it's a wonder how the actors kept a straight face Funny anecdote about that: I had an ex that was pretty into some freaky stuff (not FREAKY freaky, but you know). At times she would nudge or subtly hint about her and I "trying some things out". No offense to the people that engage in it, it's just not for me, I find the whole thing unserious and too much of a hassle, but I go along with her banter still. Surprisingly, she hasn't watched the movie before, so one day she invited me to watch it with her. I've only ever heard bad things about the movie, but aside from that, I had no expectations, but even still I was reluctant. But you know, got to indulge the people you love sometimes in the things they want, so I went. Dear fucking god. Tell me why we're both at 2PM nearly close to hurling, busting our asses laughing at this shit, slapping our knees and going around the room, voice running out because we were HOWLING laughing, because this movie isn't even meant to be this funny. But it just fucking is. After that, sometimes we quoted the movie and just burst out laughing (the "I FUCK HARD" is so iconic), she never nudged me about the freaky stuff again; the movie probably gave her a new perspective lmao

I've never read/seen 50 Shades.
