aMSa's Game 2 shows that basically even if Fox is the better character it doesn't matter if he doesn't get to play.

That's pretty much any character against Fox... Fox is one of the easiest characters in the game to combo, and he's light. If you get him in a compromised situation, he's easy to kill. The problem for most characters is getting him into that situation.
