This is already an all time great; it's as if it was specifically written to showcase Hbox's strengths and endurance as a player, in a set that will be talked about for a long time. On what I believe was an earlier set, a commentator said "Hbox could bring this back, that's why we used to call him 'Clutchbox'". Well, let's hit ctrl+x, backspace, and cut "used to" out of that sentence, and instead replace it with "That's why we STILL call him Clutchbox" Was so cool to watch live! I was practically shaking after lol. Did not expect that from a puff set.

This set shows exactly why people need to stop blindly hating on Hbox just because he plays puff. Puff can be slow at times but if you pay attention more Hbox is able to make her really fast and hype. To come down from 0-2 in the ditto is insane and Hbox should be highly praised for keeping up such mental fortitude. Hopefully Hbox goes through with his plan for focusing on melee for several months so we can get more cool sets like this one.

@lloydirving6209 I think you're underestimating the lengths that people went to to hate on hbox lol. Some of it is justified (stalling against ice climbers for example) but there are definitely people who've said that Jigglypuff as a character could kill the melee scene entirely. Especially when Hbox was undisputed #1 while winning every tournament handily.

first off, how does this keep happening second, yeah Melee’s really fun to look through, floaty matchups are actually a lot more technical/intense than people give them credit for, even with timeouts, and Puff ditto for example is quite fun because they can’t exactly outcamp themselves

---Spoiler Alert--- One of the best pop offs Hungrybox has had in a long time, not because he threw the chair, but because if you were in the live, you would notice the tension throughout the whole set. SDJ’s dominance in the first two games, how close each game was, the slow game plan, and Hbox’s reversal 3-0 against SDJ. I don’t like puff dittos either but this set was perfect in every aspect, except time. ☠️

Melee is kinda crazy in that this isn't always the case. If the rested puff dies off the top, she takes long enough to die from the stark KO that the resting puff has enough time to wake back up. You can also just fucking tech a rest if you're good enough with wank DI. Most puffs are knowledged enough to know resting on anything except final stock is too much of a risk so they won't go for it anyways.
