Few people get to see Gonarezhou in summer, and the Park is closed for much of it (January and February). But for those hardy souls brave enough to make the trip once the Park reopens in March, there is a treat in store. Lush greenery, completely unlike any other time of year. You can't get around much of the Park, as the roads are still waterlogged. But even the little bit you can still see is well worth the effort. Join Gus (the African Plant Hunter) in this one-off bonus episode of his Into The Wild Zimbabwe series on Gonarezhou as he shares his experiences of visiting Gonarezhou in summer.
