This may be the best example of what is called 'spiritual jazz.' Simple, melodic hybrid between jazz and chill. Perfect for relaxation or hanging out with friends with mellow vibes.

late at night I returned to the hostel in the center of Tbilisi drunk and emotionally depressed I turned on the Bonobo late night music selection and after listening to the track Matthew I was surprised and happy to find and discover a new amazing light-bearer-musician There is Light, and Love and pure joy, and lightness And Wings Every time I find musical friends Forever I cry and laugh So it was with Bill Evans, so it was with Nina Simone This magical August night I listen to Matthew's amazing music and cry again. I want to hug the whole world and kiss all living beings. Andsnes from Harestua (Norway). I believe. I hope and I love:)))))))❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I don't see a particular reason to put down other genres. You can like this and metal at the same time.
@clarencelaboranti48358 ай бұрын
Was going to mention the same,@@ClavicleCleric. Metal is such a diverse and generally excellent sophistication of music expression. That being said, this LP Halsall et al. have produced, is downright wholesome work.
@thebroadjeff177 ай бұрын
Heavy metal fans appreciate this music at a different level as their ears pay a lot of attention to jazzy polyrhythmic time signatures. Cheers to Mathew Hallsall and Gondwana records for releasing great music over the year🎉

@@ClavicleCleric Saying you stopped listening to one genre of music exclusively doesn’t necessarily mean you’re putting down said genre. I interpreted it as this person horizons have been broadened

I happened to find this album in one of my lowest points in life: Neglected and betrayed, I found myself coming to the other side of the world for reconciliation, and there I was, alienated and left alone in this strange place with barely anything. I had cried for days on end, called in sick from work due to the weight of my sorrow and desolation. But throughout these weeks I found this album, together with Grøn's Introvert Musik, and I could see beyond the misery I was drowning in, and after intense periods of suffering I could always fall back into the confort of these tunes, knowing that I will find my own way. I believe in miracles, and I can safely say God has been merciful and kind, and I soon I met someone who evoked a powerful feeling in me, making me able to heal myself and put myself together. For me this is the music for that kind of miracle.

It’s funny how music can take you back in time. I’m listening to Matthew Halsall - An Ever Changing View, and it’s as if I’ve been drawn back in time to the 1970s, and I’m listening to WBUS with China Vallas. Good memories.😑
