This is your best vlog yet. Tge Queen Lily segment is outstanding. I has to go back to catch the Eathan and Poker Face Ash reference. Your music mix fit. Your creativity surpasses anyone else. And yet, I watch for the poker. Interesting strategy with passive to your right and aggressive to your left. Makes for an interesting, and at times troubling, table dynamic

Dear Sir, the 35 hearts was the nuts on the flop. The turn changed that. Showing the 2 of clubs was perfect. You LAMENTETH your fold when he shows the 2 of clubs, and also CLAIMETH thou wouldst have been all in on the flop with the action involved on that table. I propose thine opponent would have happily called and felted you. His other card was most clearly the A of clubs.

The Queen Lily story hour I thought was mildly amusing the first time. I now I find it and effective technique to lecture on various hand options using characters of known vloggers own characteristics (Rampage's known tendency to move all in , in this case) to further educate and elucidate your thoughts and actions in a hand. Nice touch.

Luck is a huge part of poker. The biggest part in fact. I'm not a lucky enough person to play poker as often I would like. Unfortunately I love to play poker, but I can't afford to lose, so I just don't play much. Once or twice a year at most.
@timgray33116 ай бұрын
No. Poker is a math problem with strategy and people reading skills added in. That’s why the same good players win over time. The “luck” part is just what they call variance. If you give me 3:1 odds that a flipped coin will always come up heads, I’ll break you over time. Same concept.
@adambrown88676 ай бұрын
@timgray3311 also known as luck. I don't give a fuck what you want to call luck but if not for luck people like Phil Ivey, Daniel Negraneu & Garret Adelstein would never lose.

Getting the most important thing out of the way first here: I hope this is the start of a long upswing for you. I freakin love that you share the lows as unabashedly as the highs, but it doesn't make the rough times any easier to watch. Now back to the regularly scheduled jokes. Laying down a monster of 35 suited??? Who are you and what have you done with Jaman? (I have to live vicariously through you on that one because I don't have the huevos to play it like you do.) Also, I hope "Young Ethan" finds his caricature as entertaining as I do: all-in pre-flop is always the right move, baby! LMAO

Last week I played 3-5 suited against a very aggressive four bet pre flop. Ended up catching a 4x punt bet worth almost 6k with just a pair of threes when the person punting had AK with one card to go. The next day I flopped the 6 high joint with the same hand and after donk leading the guy raised me 4x and I insta called the flop. The next card he shoved 4k into the 1k pot and I caught that punt and ran it back. No hand has made me more money like that hand apparently.

Variance is a bitch. Ain’t no other way about it. You can play perfect and lose. Several times in a row. It’s the reason you need an adequate bankroll to play the game. Now what you consider adequate varies. Which is why when I see people on streams playing for pots the size of a nice family sedan I wonder how much money these folks really have available to them.

Playing a lot of draws. Turn was a blank Js. I bet again and again villain calls. River was Ah. Villain checks i bet about 1/2 pot to give him incentive to call. He goes in the tank for about 20 seconds then raises. I go in the tank. What hands would he raise with here? QT for a straight would. AK is possible. Could villain have a higher flush? I decide he likely made a straight so i call and get shown Qh7h by villain.
