I was devastated to hear of Naya Rivera's disappearance and passing, especially at such a young age and leaving behind a son of only four years old. She is gone too soon, and that's all there is to it.
Naya was the reason I watched "Glee" - from the beginning to the end. From the character growth of Santana going from bitch to boss, to Naya's musical numbers and solos (most notably "Valerie," "Don't Rain On My Parade," and this number, "Songbird"), to the inclusion, exploration, and dedication of her inclusivity as a Latino member of the community and an LGBT character on mainstream TV - Santana Lopez was an inspiration. And there would be no Santana Lopez without Naya Rivera.
All of my love, prayers, and support to the Rivera family as well as Ryan, Josey, and all the fans around the world mourning her passing. Naya will live on in her triumphs, and in the hearts of those who will remember her...
Always...
