I have a cousin who books her flights the same day of her cruise. I personally cannot do that, 17:57 either I am traveling the day before or two days before. Never will I travel the same day of my cruise. Never will I put that type of stress on myself. I kept suggesting she doesn’t do that. Anyway, one day she it finally happened her flight was delayed and she couldn’t make her cruise on time.

I booked a flight with American on Priceline to go from Ontario, CA to Washington, DC about 4 weeks ago. when I tell you it was a complete disaster and they did not care. I had to be put in a hotel overnight, then the following day they didn’t have enough flight attendants. When they finally got me on another flight, they had a couple on the flight with two dogs bigger than you and I. The flight was full, so the dogs were laying across complete strangers laps and there was nothing the people could do. I was shocked they allowed dogs that size on a plane .

Don, my wife and I was walking into church, and we spoke to two older ladies, and one was on a walker. Before I could get to the front door, I had to turn back around to go ask the lady if she needed any help? I heard my mother from Heaven say, “I raised you to be respectful, now go back and see if that lady need a helping hand.” I just couldn’t walk pass. I had to Do Right.

I took AA from Dayton, OH to Philly in July and my baby sister and hubby picked me up as she lives in South Jersey. They had to change 1 of the tires but no real problem. Wasn't the pilot's fault. Better to be safe than sorry. Another airline headed to Toronto had a big delay because of bad weather coming their way ahead at the next connecting airport. United was too expensive for my budget with a direct flight.

I flew American Airlines twice and both times my flight got delayed and then they told me my plane was at one gate and when I got there the attendant told me they moved my plane to a different gate. After that I was through with American Airlines. I don't care how much cheaper they are. But I am so glad you guys made it and was able to shake off that negativity and enjoy yourself. 🤗

Hey Peggy and Don we just got off the Carnival Freedom 9/16. I hope you enjoy your cruise. I love cruising! Carnival service has really declined I love being with family and friends but Carnival probably want be getting anymore of my coins. We are Platinum Members we want be Diamond. I had a connecting flight in Dallas in July with 3 kids alone. They changed our gate 2 times but luckily I signed up for text notifications but didnt get them before getting to the correct gates. We were on American also.

Glad you guys had a great time after the nightmare of the start of your day. I would have gone home after the third this happened. You guys did well holding out and waiting. I hope you get all your money back I will be writing a long letter to American Airlines period. things happen on vacation Unforeseeable but this was crazy. Our last vacation to Punta Canta was a nightmare we have been traveling for 25 years with no problems until now, I told my husband if this was my first vacation I would not be going on anymore after this I was done. To top it off we got Covid. So glad you both got home safe and sound love yall. today my 73rd Birthday.

Oh I’m so happy y’all made it, I purposely picked my cruise port near my home and at the end of hurricane season. The ship is smaller and older but it’s my very first cruise and it’s going to Nassau and Bimini so all my boxes were checked. I’m in a Facebook group too and everyone is so helpful❤ Peggy, I’m a Disney fanatic too and Disney Springs is my spot when I don’t have time to make it to the parks👍🏿

Always book through the airline. Also up grade your seat. Planes don't take off in the rain if where you are going the storm can be worse in the air. Delta is better!

Hey Fam! I hope yall are having a wonderful time on your cruise! It's great to see you. In this day and time if you have reservations for anything it's best to arrive the day before. Air travel has been insane with delays and cxls. I read a story today in a travel group that I follow where 4 people that are in a wedding tomorrow will miss the wedding due to a delayed flight. They couldn't leave earlier bc of work. Everyone was searching trying to help find alternatives. We're hoping they found something. Stay safe and safe travels home!!!

Dudes! When y’all mentioned a cruise, I just thought you were going out of New Orleans since it’s closer to Houston. I’m glad your flights finally got you there on time! That’s so frustrating. Airlines have been very unreliable since COVID. Looks like y’all had a good time in Disney Springs! We moved down near Orlando back in April to be closer to our son and DIL. We were at Disney Springs yesterday. Always a great time! We have AP’s for Disney and Universal, so we’re having a blast. We can see the rockets launching from Canaveral from our house which is 40 miles away. LOL! It’s amazing! Hope you enjoy your cruise! We’ve booked the Disney Wish for next year.

I myself still hold doors open for people when I'm going in I hold onto the door until they catch up to the door and then I give it to them they usually say thank you. The sometime I come behind a man and seems to me like he tries to hurry up and run in so he don't have to hold the door for me but I don't do but just look at him and just say oh he just didn't feel like holding it today and I just Shrugged my shoulders and keep walking but it never stopped me from thanking someone for holding the door open for me it doesn't even stop me when I hold the door open for someone and they don't say thank you it doesn't bother me because I know I have a good heart I was taught that way and to be honest I don't even know who taught me that I think I just taught myself and I am definitely being honest on that part I think I really just taught myself to be a good person just saying.

Hey brother and sister in law. I miss you guys 💕. I wanted to make a comment about all the problems y'all been having on y'all trip. I saw a post from one of my followers on Tik-Tok she'll also saying about all the troubles that she was having while she was trying to fly to Chicago. She said she ended up losing her luggage and she had to take later flights. She was just frustrated with the whole situation. She said if it wasn't her son's birthday that week, she wouldn't have went because of all the stuff that was going wrong. When she finally made it to her son's house she had the best weekend she ever had. She made a comment that there probably was something that might would have happened that God had delayed her so she can get to her son safely. You know I want to believe that. Maybe there was a reason that you guys were delayed. Maybe it was God's way of saying hey if y'all get there at a certain time you'll be in danger so let me delay y'all so you can get there safely. I'm glad you guys are doing all right and I love y'all!!!❤❤ Donna

Hey aunty and unc!!! I need to be on that cruise with you’ll. Im glad you’ll made it safe. I will never take a connecting flight EVER again in life. I was leaving FLL to STL with a connecting flight in Charlotte. It was a bad storm in Charlotte and all flights were delayed. My connecting flight to STL was delayed also. Now we landed in Charlotte and was sitting on the tarmac for 45 min waiting for a crew. I missed my connecting flight to Stl. I was stuck in Charlotte for 12 hours. If I can’t get to my destination on a direct flight and the first flight out the gate, it’s not meant for me to go. Have fun and bring me a shot glass back. 😎🫶🏽
