Gong & Bird Sound Meditation • Jens Zygar • We all just need to gong

Its my most beloved recorded gong music track ever, originally called „The birds and myself in the ambience“ ; one of my very early recordings, feels like ages ago, it happened in the backyard of the Black Forest, southwest of Germany; its a early morning moment me playing gongs (a full on PAISTE Sound creation Set) together with the first birds singing.
Ever since this feels like the best part of any day to me and whenever I manage myself to be awake and present in this special moment when the sun rises, the first bird starts to sing, actually they sing before the sun rises, and its always a challenge to spot exactly this moment,
The recoding was done with sone great recording equipment like SHOEPS microphones and some custom made gear that I cannot name anymore; with my first recording mate ALLFRIED MOLL, who later on disappeared in his life; I have learned a lot form his recording philosophy and his listening approach and I will be always thankful for his presence at that time.
Today times are different, can’t even be more different,…and I am so happy and proud that the legendary recoding was used in my award winning gong movie film called WE ALL JUST NEE TO GONG; where I had the honor to be the co-producer next to the great JOHN PRITCHARD, director of film production company ONE HEART MOVIE, he has produced a couple of mind blowing films on the subject of transformation culture and especially drum circles, and holistic healing.

There is a pre 43 minute version of the movie film WE ALL JUST NEED TO GONG ON on my You tube channel here, ist quite different then the later published 92 minutes version, which can be seen at the same called website.
The gong mediations scene, that is here presented by itself, with the most beautiful edit created by my wonderful friend John is somehow like a highlighting pause peak break in the movie film, which presents 42 people from all over the world speaking about their specific view point on contemporary gong culture.
