Not really. The band at this time (1973) were led by an Australian, Daevid Allen, and otherwise were made up of English and French musicians. After this album, the line up changed regularly. The bands style or genres have been described as Progressive, rockspace rock, psychedelic rock, jazz rock and psychedelic pop. Krautrock was a lazy term made by British journalists in the late 60s to describe experimental music from German bands, but most were very different from one another. Wikipedia has great pages on Gong and Krautrock, which will give you links to the bands who were making experimental music in Germany in late 60s, early 70s.

so THIS is the song Sherman Hemsley devoted an entire room to, in his house -- ??? Halfway through was enough for me,-- but i did really enjoy his portrayal of the diminutive, outwardly gruff & irascible, but actual softhearted "domestic tyrant," -- George Jefferson-- in the 70's TV sitcom The Jeffersons
