Gong Hipe cake Cruzader Light winds (ive had too much cake over Christmas lol)

intro and light wind session today for me - more time on the board and foil. Felt a lot happier with it - im now convinced this would actually be a great beginner board if you live in an area with light winds . Love it :-)
Very impressed how easily this takes off onto foil.

@@christomo yeah it can get real expensive real quick ! The aluminium mast is ok for wings up to about 105cm. Ive just received my sirus at 156 cm wide ! its huge lol - with my weight im just convinced i would bend the alu mast at some point with this wing on and the force my bodyweight is going to put through it 🤣

Looks like you're using the strapped version but without the straps? What are your thoughts between the strapped and unstrapped versions?

Hi Yeah, it is the strapped version. For the small price difference i got the strapped version anyway but i dont use them yet (i tried with straps on my other board but they got in the way whilst i was learning) - i might use them in future when i get more confident. I like riding without and i use the strap mounting bumps as a reference of where to put my feet without having to look down all the time. I actually place my front foot on the strap mount - very comfortable and feels like the right pace for it to be.

@@stevstaf1014 For your weight if you want inflatable that what id go for. I dont think the exta volume would do any extra harm with these boards particulary - i dont notice the extra lenght of it. They have a sale on the cruzader at moment if your quick - it usually sells out really quick in the sales. (im nothing to do with them buy my own gear i just love their stuff and amazing value for money and the service ive had from them has been brilliant 😀)
