What you are seeing is the true art before commercialization folks. Extremely rare and USA should thank Marin for demonstrating this. If you live near him and are serious in your heart you should most definitely try to learn from him.
Very kind of you to post this. I think you are showing some real kung fu and the essence of the true art.

The explosiveness intrigues me. Marin's underlying organization must be superb.

Hey Marin Siivak, I pose a most interesting question: what do think about Mahongs form in general? Im asking since your teacher's father taught him, I would like to know if you ever met him and your take on his taiji and yours .
@Gongfutube Жыл бұрын
Mahong did not start learning Quan until he was 43 years old, a very late start by Chinese standards. My teacher never said a bad word about him, as he had treated Chen Zhaokui so well and was close to the family. Mahong's Quan was more of a performance/drama & cultural approach. Traditional martial Taijiquan of this line is singularly difficult to learn and develop.

@@Gongfutube Thanks for the response, I have a great deal of respect for you as a person and value your input. I also like Yang Wenhu and Master Lingzhi An what is your knowledge or opinion on their taiji: same lineage as yours.

They are both legitimate students of their respective lines, LZA is a student of Chen Fake as far as I know. YWH a student of Chen Zhaokui. @@raffiprincetv

Having the posture names displayed in the video would be beneficial. Are you considering to add them?

i would say this is not chenjiaokui jia but mahong jia!

This simply is not related to Mahong (at all). This comes from Chen Zhaokui's son.

I didn't ask my neighbors dog his opinion, but alas much like you he took a shit in my yard

It would be wonderful if you produced a back view version or side view so people can learn it by repeat following each step. Front views make it much more difficult unnecessarily because you have to translate left and right and back and Forward.

Master Spivak had to really work very hard to get where he is today. Westerners like that are rare because it seems everyone wants everything handed to them. Back in the 80s, we would have to save up money to get a grainy VHS tape, and we felt lucky to get them. And now we have free videos on KZbin, but that's not enough for you, now you want even more. And I bet you wondered why he never responded to your comment.

The Kua dominates the body movement. Most of the movements are from shoulders, not the KUA.
