Gönül, who remembers the injustices she has suffered since the day she was born, how she built her life on her own, and the beginning of her relationship with Tekin, cannot bear the weight of what she experienced afterwards. After his actions are revealed, Tekin is on the road to prison. His family tries to save him, but he has other plans. Gönül, who holds everyone to account as one of the millions of women subjected to violence, finally meets her mother and listens to a different story than the one her father told. Yusuf, on the other hand, has prepared a surprise for Gönül that will make her forget the bad days.
Hatirla Gonul (English title: Gonul) is a Turkish drama television series, starring Gokce Bahadır, Engin Ozturk and Onur Saylak.
Nurse Gonul (Gokce Bahadir) prepares to marry her doctor colleague Tekin (Onur Saylak). However, she hears terrible allegations about him and gives up the marriage. Later, when her path crosses with Yusuf (Engin Ozturk), she is torn between the passionate love of two men.

Definitely one of the better Turkish television serials I have watched. Good plot, good cinematography and production design and (as usual) excellent acting all round. Very very little in the way of soap opera tricks, so it will definitely be remembered as a proper credible dramatic play. Often a weak point with these Turkish television plays is that the ending is sudden and loose ends are left hanging, as though the producer / sponsor pulled the plug. In fact. we know that this has happened all too often (e.g. My Life or the one with the little mute daughter), where the sponsors' pocket has too much power and both the viewer and the artistic endeavour are scorned. Indeed, I got a slight impression with Hatırla Gönü that a longer serial had been intended, because from around episode 30, it felt as if the story was being rushed to a culmination. But there were no loose ends and the plot had a sound arc from beginning to end, which is good. I do not think a second follow-up serial will happen: it is left to the viewer to imagine what might take place. Personally I think that Tekin will be strong-willed enough to curb his obsession, will keep in touch with his sister and perhaps one day he will reunite with ?Selma (Mete's sister).

A great TV series. With a cliffhanger about the paternity of the child, so if they decide to add another season they could expand , other wise there was no doubt about who the father was. When Yusuf looked at the hospital papers he knew the date matched the date he got intimate with Guoul.. There was not scene about the baby being born late either. So I call it a tease.

Agh man this so disappointing that Telin is alive his gona kidnap the child to get to Gonul and Yasuf. And the baby can't be his coz she was pregnant with the accident and she only slept with Yasuf. Director's like to twist stories. I mean they suffer alot let them have peace and live happy but with Tekin alive they won't be his a devil and evil.

I don't even feel like commenting the writer don't give Yusuf and gonul no justice look at what they have been through is father kill is son gonul went through so much abuse come an give them a little happiness in the end let the kid be their own but no evil tekin he make the father oh evil look at the women tekins take advantage of and the scars I know he wasn't going to take is life is evil dad and is sis that can't live without him the only way that tekins would die is that if someone try to kill gonul he would take a bullet for her sigh 😢 disappointed bad nit that he's a live but tgat the kid is tekin I last interest
