I went there years ago and never saw it that high. The vehicles used to drive right up to their houses and I think planes taxied in too. Is this that high year round? Also, does Larry Allen still live on the island in the rock house near the entrance to the bay across from Papa Fernandez?

I went the year before and the tide was not high. but this time it was very high. On the left side is where the cars drove up to their homes or to the restaurant Alfonsinas which is at the end of the road. I don't know people there, I was just visiting since the view is beautiful there.

Back in the 70s I don’t remember ever seeing that much runway under water. senterfits runway book occasionally said field might be under water. I wonder how long it takes to dry out enough for take offs. The future only promises the whole peninsula will be under water on a much more Permanent basis.. time to sell?

I went there the year before and the tide was not high at all. The runway for the airplanes and the car driveway was clear of any water.

THE RUWAY ONLY FLOODS AT HIGH TIDE DURING FULL AND NEW MOON. MOST OF THE TIME IT IS DRIVREABLE.

I went there as a kid with my parents over 50 years ago and the runway was right behind the houses and there was only a few houses at that time. The water level has risen and the original runway is gone. Google maps show wha looks like a dirt runway farther south

Cuánto tardan en degradar un hermoso lugar, lleno de casas que generan basura, drenajes y contaminación visual,a veces es mejor no dar a conocer estos lugares
