Gonzalo's Journey is illuminating and hopeful.
His family, like many in Bolivia, live in a rural community at a high altitude....
Their community is remote - the gravel road disappears from the map an hour before arrival. A stable phone signal requires Gonzalo’s parents to go even further up the mountain.
Like his siblings, he was born at home. His cleft lip and palate was a shock for everyone. Luciano urgently needed to call the closest health post for help.
What began as a distressing phone call started Gonzalo's hopeful cleft care journey. One of Comprehensive Cleft Care with a dedicated local team.
