Grew up five miles from Red Rocks, even had my High School graduation there. By far the best place ever to see a concert.

I love seeing all the jam bands there. Umphrey's McGee is by far my favorite. Killer shows they put on, and so great at red rocks. Their light shows are incredible

This is my favorite song:) My favorite song since i was 13 the year twister came out. John Rzeznik is sooooooooo talented:) I agree he looks awesome in a black pinstripe suit:) He has a style all his own:) He looks great in blue as well:)

Not sure why everyone is dissing this version. I think it sounds great! It’s just compressed and gated so it has a more produce sound

Much cleaner version than the original...Both are equally great.

I think it's also tuned down a full step too. Which is common live anyway.

Raxta Emu right even though this version is cleaner sounding with the 3 fricking guitarists its a bit more subdued that 96 Letterman version was raw much more energy and overall just better in my opinion
@burningkarma6 жыл бұрын
Robby’s backing vocals were a lot more raw and raspy on the Letterman version too.
@russellpaloor82255 жыл бұрын
@@hellfire8883 cuz they were hungry to get exposure and make it. This is an old song too, so they are bored. Pretty ungrateful of their success imo Shitty vocals and performance
@hellfire88835 жыл бұрын
@@russellpaloor8225 Yeah it's pretty common to see bands play their hearts out when they are trying to impress and make it. Some get kinda lazy and complacent in later years after years of success.

The RRHOF is a joke at this point. There are so many bands/artists that deserve to be in it, but for some reason, they are constantly snubbed. Foreigner, Boston, Peter Frampton, Styx, Huey Lewis and the news, Alice In Chains, Ted Nugent, etc. I can go on for days. The Goo Goo Dolls are definitely one of them.

Johnny must have been listening to a lot of Bob Dylan at the time. Listen o how he's phrasing things, like "I don't think I'll make it on my own." Reminds me of Frank Zappa imitating Bob Dylan on the song "Flakes" from Sheki Yerbouti.
