SOOOOOOO GLAD THAT I FOUND THIS GEM!!!!!! I mean, I was in my little studio shouting in the little space I have lol. THIS is the church I know and love. I’m a young’in (only 24 years old) but I prefer this over the new age stuff playing today. Today’s gospel music sounds a lot like the world. But I don’t care what the trends are. No one can turn me around. In Jesus’ name 🙌🏾

Ain’t nothing to it but to do it. Any day of the week at a church somewhere in Detroit. And it’s better if it’s an appreciation service for one of the city’s anointed sons or daughters who are known for singing gospel music. Protect your ears, though. 😅

Climbing up the mountain, trying to reach the top! Almost finished my battle--gone halfway and I just can't stop! At the end of the mountain there is faith and trust; I can see JESUS standing there to meet us! I thank God--I am reaching for myself! Several improvisation/vamp sections follow these lyrics: "Sing, sing, sing, sing--you ought to sing sometime!" "Pray, pray, pray, pray--you ought to pray sometime!" "Shout, shout, shout, shout--you ought to shout sometime!"

ooooohwee that break-down @6:15! 🔥 🔥 🔥 ...took me back to when I was a little boy, at my church in Chicago, "First Union MBC"! When the music would break, and the choir would still be singing, clapping their hands, stomping their feet, and the tamborines banging!!! The foot stomping was the icing on the cake on these up-tempo songs!!! 🔥

HAPPY PENTECOST SUNDAY, Y'ALL! (May 19, 2013) Joy to everyone on the FESTIVAL OF FIRSTFRUITS, the seventh Sunday after EASTER DAY...."You ought to SHOUT some time!.....":-) Every time I hear this song, I see my Dad dancing, Mom wailing on the trombone, tambourines banging, saints leaping, EXUBERANT PRAISE rocking the church, and that HEAVENLY MOVING BASS driving the sound....HALLELUJAH! :-)

I owe these people so much, as well as the uploader/filmer. Thank you so much. You did everyone a huge favor bringing this amazing faith and spirit renewing music to the convience of people's homes. My mind always seems so vulnerable to slipping into dark places. This music helps me bring me back when it feels like the devil wants to bring me in. God bless each and every one of you, and I hope you make it safe and okay. When the devil is strong, God has promised us he's almighty and stronger. And he is he just has different ways of showing it. God bless you all, thank you.
