The video is too fast to understand what is going on from a person that knows little about the Yugioh world, like me . What I suggest is making the first game normal and try to explain with "Text" or "Voice" how the cards and the combo works, and then the plays you show in the video. I think in this way the people will learn and understand better 😄

Master Duels is a nice change of pace but my god is it absolutely overwhelming for me as someone who is used to Duel Links and only played the TCG back in 2010. So many cards, combos, walls of text. 90% of the cards I have no idea what they are lol.

@@abrogaming5976 basically each dragonmaid Has 2 form, human and dragon except chamber, she can be any dragon form. You use the human form when you do your stuff in main phase and change the form to dragon in battle phase, and back to human after battle. Each human form has effect when summoned or special summoned while dragon form effect can be activated from hand, like hand traps. That is the basic of dragonmaid.

@@abrogaming5976 first you just have to try dumping monster with different name because they pretty easy to summon with the traps, magic, nurse or sheou on standby phase (either player). And second, working your way to summon sheou as fast as you could because she can negate anything, after negate she will go back to extra deck and special summon house. With her you can easily pop your opponent monster with her effect Everytime a dragonmaid returns from field to hand, and it's not once per turn and you literally do that everytime you go to battle phase on either players turn. This deck is dynamic because you can save your strategy in hand , not just onboard which is good, because the dragon form are all handtraps, except sheou.

Another beginner friendly deck is Tenyi. The main deck cores are all Rares and Commons, there's only one three of SR spell, only one two of SR monster, and the rest are all one ofs.

I guess I'm just use to the speed of replays from watch other Yugitubers cause it doesn't seem that fast to me. 😅 But we also have to consider how long turns can take for combo oriented decks (like sitting through Spyrals for the first tume...). I don't mind it being slowed down as long as it doesn't force them to cut the numbers of duels shown with the decks. If there was a testing feature so they could show combos without a timer that's be great for those not understanding everything during the duels. And that could be it's own video.

I love Dragonmaids, but this video also shows how the game has changed over the years (and not in a good way). With all these extra special ways to summon (Pendulum and Link are especially guilty of this), even at rapid-fire speed that first turn took an entire minute. A minute which in realtime could be easily five times longer or more while that player looks over his hands, searches the cards from deck and shuffles, pages through the extra deck and puts on the board...all the while the opponent has to wait and twiddle their thumbs. If they have a card that can actually interact they have to keep alert so they don't miss their oppertunity rather than zone out until it's their turn. In YMD it would pause automatically so the opponent would know you have something although it does that for every possible effect so it could be something completely irrelevant. In actual play you'd have to interrupt at the right moment because if not and the other player is getting into a good pace they might be working on the next play already while you have to interrupt them and say "yeah I stop your last play" which can lead to an argument about if you waited deliberately to see a card you shouldn't have, or if you played it late to wait out the potential result and decide afterwards if an earlier move should have been stopped now that you can actually see where it is going. Early Yu-Gi-Oh! might have been lacking in complexity and thematically I really like the addition of actual archetypes (it feels like you are fighting with a band of monsters rather than whatever randoms you just pick up, and combos are much more specific) but Pendulums and Links allow just a bit too much summoning in one turn. XYZ was pushing it since even Synchro at least required a special type of monster where just two or more of the same level is fairly easy to get to...

I would suggest that you might go slow a bit. I think many of us don't know much about TCG, I have never seen most cards shown in duels. So its difficult for us to grasp what's going on. First you might explain us the deck it's cards the combos the extra deck and all in first 5-10 minutes. Then even 2 duel videos are enough for us to completely understand deck

There a KZbinr who made a video on when they first came out to the tcg gave a good explanation. Forgot who though. It like B4 battle Lv2s can turn into lv7, if the level 7s are in the grave . Lv3 do this to lv 8s, chamber can be anything. After battle they revert

But those who coming back find the game to be fast and have no idea what the opponent is doing or what the card even do... this is the best yugioh game right now.. I know people want a 150 miles per hrs duel.. but even watching a video on fast play it not even fun..

The 5 other ones are random cards that you will not use, and are just targets to avoid banishing your combo pieces with Pot of Extravagance, you can use fodder or look around your cards if you have something that could do a little bit of sinergy with the rest of the deck.

What's the point of Pot of Extravagance in the deck? I didn't see you use it once & isn't it risky getting rid of 3-6 of your extra deck cards? You could quite easily banish all your fusion maidragons in one swoop by using it. Also why is the deck you showed at the end & in the description different to what you used in the video?

Ok simple is like a utopia double otk deck with utopia ray and stuff for going first protection. Dragonmaid has you throwing shit in gv then bringing it back linking into striker dragon to bring out spheres. Doing effects at the start of the BP is also strange. I wouldn't call dmaid beginner friendly.
