Watching this movie back in the day, I remember seeing this scene and thinking "what is this De La Soul 'Me Myself and I' ripoff?" and kinda liking it more. Used Kazaa or something to download the song, actually loving this song a lot more. Only to find out even later that 'Knee Deep' is the original and it took even more time to find out George Clinton is actually in this scene as through the years I got familiar with his discography and who he is. Now, so much later, the appreciation for this scene and ignition down the rabbit hole it caused, is through the roof. This ish funked me up!
