If I remember correctly, Foreman was freaked out in that room because they'd put the patient in a medically-induced coma so the agony didn't kill him. And then they realized his brain was still in agony even though he was in a coma. And that's what Foreman had to look forward to. His last few hours of life were going to be spent in a pain more intense than anyone can really describe.

The one beef I've always had with this episode is that the vast majority of ammunition sold in the US does *not* use a ferromagnetic projectile, and the projectile being a ".38 caliber hollow point" does not make it more likely that the projectile would be ferromagnetic. In fact, it makes it far *less* likely since most .38 caliber hollow points are cup and core construction with a cupronickel jacket, which is not magnetic, and a lead core, which is also not magnetic.

@THall-vi8cp
@THall-vi8cp 2 жыл бұрын
@Stranger In A Strange Land Except it is. The primary metals used in manufacturing handgun ammo in the US are lead and copper. Very few use anything else, let alone anything ferromarnetic. Further, hollowpoints are designed to expand when they impact a soft target. Nickel, to use your example, is incredibly hard compared to lead and copper, and will not expand. The only other types of handgun ammo that use ferromagnetic materials are armor piercing and not ono are those not sold to civilians, they are by design not hollow point. So some ammo may use ferromagnetic metals, but they are not hollowpoint.

Can Doctors in America really just ‘check’ a patient’s home, car, workplace etc while they’re lying unconscious in a hospital bed? They often do this in House. We see them snooping in kitchen cupboards, fridges, bathroom and even bedroom cabinets. They seem to have more power than cops who at least need a search warrant. Surely this isn’t realistic, is it?
@mostdakka3295

Of course not. House is doing very illegal stuff. You need a permission or court order. Even then police would be with them.
@akmi1931
@akmi1931 2 жыл бұрын
Federal medical agencies could, like the CDC. But medical doctors couldn’t legally do this even with a court order. The police would be the ones to conduct the search. Unless it’s an crime scene, in which the police medical official (forensics) would. But House is all about bending the laws for his own purposes

@@eloryosnak4100 exactly, these clips are cut for a specific reason. I’m pretty sure the cop died, he was in vfib, the epi after compressions did nothing so you’d quickly die from oxygen loss. Multiple organ failure is a result of the cop going without oxygen, due to cardiac arrest. Foreman didn’t want to accept his death right away, he was definitely dead since house was calling for time of death. That only happens once life sustaining measures are cut off

@@epstein_isnt_dead7726 the criminal was George Floyd, who is now proven to have died because of a fentanyl overdose causing respiratory failure.. The cop on the other hand, well, we'll let you know when we catch which one doesn't have a prescription.. If you don't get it the determining factor is the prescription pad and also possibly who prescribed the marijuauna to the cop.. One is legal, the other illegal but that's the point.. One was prescription and one was not..

@@WAEVOICE The problem is the good ones aren’t getting rid of the bad ones. In fact, they often help cover up the bad ones’ misdeeds. Any group that fails to marginalize its worst members risks being defined by them. A group that actively protects its worst members, like cops and fraternities, is very likely to be defined by them.
