The thing is, even if these sets are moderately interesting upon release - assuming they even make it to live - you can be guaranteed that ZoS will bring down the nerf hammer once players start adopting them. I will simply not waste my time grinding these when there are already more reliable options.

What about Noxious Boulder with a maelstrom back bar setup? If you heavy attack from the back bar to trigger it, youll get a full power 20s single target dot and the big poison damage proc which could make it more competetive, especially in burn scenarios where youll likely use a flame destro ult anyway

Im also going to have to log on and try this on my one bar dk arcane archer. Its got the pen line it needs, and will get a massive bump in damage from the poisoned status effects. It might beat out threads of war and pyrebrand, especially because that burst can fit in the ult phase of that parse

With the nerf to MA 2H a few patches ago, I could see Jerensi's as a good alternative back bar set seeing as it perfectly lines up with Stampede's 15s duration. Can do a setup with 5 back, 5 front, 2 monster, 1 mythic, and 1 stat piece. Curious if it would be competitive outside of just an aoe setup. Overall, love the VFX, functionality of upfront damage + sticky dot, and proc condition. It's kinda like a more reliable Aegis Caller, enemies tend to just walk out of it after 5s.

Judging from the video, the Orpheon set has major tank annoyance potential because it's effing large and you can't see anything for several seconds. Maybe it's less bad in the game, but the thing looks massive. (That's what she said, and all that.) :D

Jerensi's Bladestorm has the same cooldown as stampede, so would it maybe worth it, to run it as backbar set and run spectral cloak on the front bar?
