In This Mod, What if things could be different? What if you could save her? This question plagued the minds of most people after finishing the first act of DDLC. Salvation goes on to answer this question. After narrowly avoiding one tragedy, the members of the club get into an accident. Monika is forced to stay at the hospital and Sayori has to take up the mantle of club president in her absence. However, as you grow closer to the other girls Monika has to realize a dark truth. How far are you willing to go to save them? Do you have what it takes to be her Salvation?

Notice how in the bad ending one of the last thing MC mentions is the world fading black as the screen slowly goes dark implying that the game ended and their world with it. Here it ends with The End screen and only cuts black for a second before credits roll and nothing stating everything going dark. Almost as if it’s implying that the Salvation world pushed forward without the game or script in the good ending

This was... This was beautiful. DDLC created characters that you, despite them being mostly tropes, connected to. Probably why fans still try too continue their story to give them a good time. And this mod continued it as a normal visual novel with the focus on mental health problems. And it still stayed faithful to it's origins, explained Monikas reasons, what she did etc. And then everything kinda worked out. This mod is a perfect example of what a good ending of DDLC would look like. And I give them credit for an almost perfect writing with the characters. They felt like they should be (or should I say, they fletched them out in a really good and realistic way) and the one scene at the beginning where you save Sayori brought up some tears of mine when it was over. The custom pictures and music tracks where the cherry on the top (even though there we're two that I didn't liked as much and the style is a bit off. But the fact that they're there and look good in their own style shows that they took care. (Plus voice acting the poems!) And I really liked that they didn't hid things like Natsukis and Yuris wounds. They are there and a part of them and seeing Natsuki showing them while being casually normal was a wonderful way to say "She has her wounds but she has open up to them. At least to her friends." A good message since showing and accepting is the first step to cure. Yuris scars aren't bloddy anymore at the end, still there as a permanent reminder but it showed that these times are now in the past and it reflects in the way she acts in this scene. Sayori, while being in therapy and healing, often returns to her depressed state which is also normal. Everyone with depression eventually has his moments where they return to their previous view of themselves or the world since they're used to it. Just like a physical wound, a psychological wound needs a time and effort to heal. Also you still had to keep in mind that Monika is still in her mode to make everyone weird, so there was also horror involved here and there. As for the MC - he was probably a bit over the top if you think about it - but we all are here after finishing the original so probably no one cares (including me) and everyone would try to be as supportive as him in his shoes. These girls deserve a happy end ;-; In conclusion, for me this is probably my canonic headcanon for a good ending now. The Doki doki Salvation Team did a great job to bound me to your videos for some hours over the last days. Thank you for uploading them and, if one of the creators reads this, thank you for making this mod.

I'm happy that they are all able to be happy. The fact that the game takes himself seriously is interesting too. In the original game, even Monika was just a script in the end. So the fact that she firmly believed to be different and killed everyone because of it was always frustrating to me. Now she is happy with the reality she is in. Like Sayori.

This mod was so good I had to finish it in two days. My favorite mod hands down, due to how realistic the cast stays true to their characters and how accurate the story is. We can really feel how _real_ each one is. My head canon is that this is what would have happened if all characters had the same complexity in code design as Monika. Essentially, that’s all this mod did. This mod made it so that each character, including the MC, would be able to evolve from their base personalities. Throughout the story, even Monika begins to see it, starting from the first group therapy session, or even her tussle with the mc when she talked about how he wouldn’t be able to help Sayori with her depression. His genuine backlash shocked her not just because it was scary, but because he reacted exactly how a normal person would react. The mc before, as we know, was a complete husk with no personality. It’s also really cool that the programming Monika did no longer worked because of the sudden advancement of every characters’ coding. Their code became like hers: constantly evolving. Because of this, simple commands would never be able to work anymore, and Monika isn’t able to program a self-evolving AI. Her torment ending is probably a mercy from the mod itself as well. The entire story was based around brokenness, coming clean, and eventual healing. Each character in the story had each other to heal, while Monika didn’t have anyone… except the game itself. She was the final character that needed healing, and due to the nature of the mod, it was given to her. Jeez… now I wish they were real. ;(

Dear God that was a roller coaster of emotions! The writing for this is amazing, and everyone who worked on this mod should be super proud of themselves. This ending is exactly what I need, and I would watch the bad options just to see everything these people created, but I don't think I can after seeing this. Considering that the girls are still hanging out inside the game, I hope they are doing great! maybe someone should make a follow up animation or story of what happened to the girls after the events of the game. That would be cool!

12Gizguy6 and Co made such a great job. It is essentially fanfiction, but its plot is so well developed that it deserves to be canonized in the DDLC universe. Moreover, it’s strange to say this about fanfiction, but what happened during the plot made me ask myself the question: maybe I should have done exactly as described here in some life issues? In other words, the plot got me thinking, which is worth a lot. I think the plot of this mod (along with the plot of the original game) could form the basis of a very good anime series, don't you think? I would love to watch an anime adaptation of this masterpiece. Bravo, DDLC Salvation Team. And thank you, KaneMonger, for showing it to us all. (Well, I'm Russian and my English is not so good, so I had to use Google Translate, but I hope you understood my thoughts.)

This was a very interesting series and mod! how it tackled depression, the inexperience one has towards it, how easy it is to lose everything over 1 action and lose your bearings. It's a very interesting mod! I'm glad the creator has gone to search for his pursuits and focus on his future. also really appreciate the mention of doctors. Like that is something that is for some reason STRANGELY underrated and underutilized in some animes and games. it's either a doctor that cures sickness and wounds or a doctor that cures curses or debuffs. Never about the mental health

Can we all just agree that the "Just Monika" CG is the best One in the game? Just the way it makes it feel like she is actualy there sitting in front of you. Others may look better or have a more emotional feeling but nothing can beat the design and feel that the "Just Monika" CG gives, an absolute masterpiece when combined with the rest of the game's story.

A truly feel good end to this mod that was crafted incredibly well. Pleasant story and resolution to the issues and plights of each girl. It's truly rewarding to have gone through this mod and reached the good ending like this after having binged several different DDLC mods, most of which were downtrodden (not bad by any means, just a barrage of melancholy) and ended in unpleasant ways or after major tragedies. I guess, in a way, this served as a palette cleanser that I've really needed for a while now. Great stuff.

Finally after watching through the whole DDLC Salvation Mod playlist all i gotta say is, I do not care what people say. THIS is the ending for me if only I'm the one controlling the MC's thick headed ass and if only I'm the one who gets to say what I really want to say to each and every one of them. I'm still thinking about how mad I got after MC didn't even stay with her at night after confessing her severe depression knowing that she was gonna be dead by the next day if no one watches her and yep I was right. Whoever made this mod, I'm 100% sure that they have the same exact thought that I had in this game If only the MC wasn't that much of a thickheaded ignorant bastard. I love this mod so much.

Omg I actually binge watched 7+ hours of DDLC without getting bored????????????? This whole mod is insane. The most shocking moment IMO was the realization that Monika crashed the car ON PURPOSE to get rid of everyone else so it would just be her and MC. Luckily her plan failed and everyone survived. 10/10 mod. Actually, heck it. 11/10 mod. Edit: Also sad that part 2 is age restricted. Literally had to download the video from an external website just to watch it lol.

(Sorry how late this is) I only recently got into ddlc mainly because my friends were playing ddlc + and I got interested in it, I then fell in love with it instantly. ( im even learning how to make mods for it myself) at first I was going for yuri but then switched to sayori because I loved her character I was Sad about what happend to her she didn’t deserve it, then my friend told me that there was a mod where you save sayori and I instantly tried to find it and I can say without a doubt that this is the greatest thing I’ve ever gotten to see the story was brilliant, it stayed true to the characters, everyone got a happy ending, the way they handled the whole monika situation was brilliant, I loved the relationship between sayori and mc, natsuki and yuri got given great parts. They even had custom music and cg’s (I hope that they’re are others that feel the same as me) I honestly can’t express how much I love this mod, and how much joy it brought to me, it had moments where I was shocked wondering what will happen next it had parts where I was genuinely worried for the characters. this is what I’ll think of when I think of ddlc. I’m still tearing up about it tbh. It’s everything I wanted from a continuation of ddlc( it’s also cannon to me) I am sad that it’s over but as monika said all good things must come to an end. ( but now I can only imagine mc’s name being Kane monger thanks for that😁) Thanks to the creator of this mod for making such an incredible mod and also thanks to kanemonger for showing it to us I am so glad I found this wonderful community and I can’t wait to see what comes next 100000/10
