in this video I visit an ATF license holder to see how he celebrates Memorial Day. You will see a mix of 1.3 and 1.4 fireworks.

I really liked the format with inserting a picture of the label into the video just before firing the cake, despite the match failures. Also, your friend can certainly put together a finale. That was really good. Just a shame that you had technical difficulties.

Dave you and your buddy did great despite the fuse mishaps. What really got my attention was when the 1.3 hang fired!!!! If that wasn't a "PICURE PERFECT SCENARIO" of not putting your face over the tubes for a while....WOW!!! You always teach me something in your videos Dave, that's one of the reasons I bought your ATF package. So thank you...

Dave, I got 1000’ Of thermostat cable for free and I use it all the time for wiring displays and shots. It’s 2-pair 18g stranded copper high quality wire. It works well. Also, I’ve never user that perchlorate quick match, but if you fish scale the end or the sides of your fuse on the cake, or remove the factory fuse altogether and fish scale some 15spf cake fuse and tape or zip tie the quick match to it. If you split the very last 1/4” of the fuse with a pair of shears right up the length, then zip tie the split fuse around the initiating fuse or match it’ll go very reliably.

OMG. If those were my kids, they would've been sent in the house. That is ridiculous. As much as I love fireworks, I would never let my kids scream like this the whole night. Next year, add more noise and less space between effects to drown them out! HAHAHA. And get rid of that fuse!

I've had issues with quickmatch blowing away from visco on linked fusing, but that was my fault for not leaving vent holes. Problem recognised and fixed for later shows. You guys were really thrown a curve-ball on this one. I feel for you. Even for a backyard show, it's humiliating when stuff doesn't work. Good job, nonetheless!

First video I've found where I had to stop and come back in spurts simply because of how annoying the kids and some adults were .. I get being excited but that was just plain ridiculous how they screamed screamed for 20 minutes straight.. my condolences to your ears Dave and myself and anyone else who watched this video

Jeez, when I was a kid watching a firework show I just sat there and enjoyed it instead of sitting their screaming and hollering consistently at every cake that goes off lol. i made a firing box i use a coaxal cables for my ground to my secondary boxes and ethernet for my live wires im using 9 100 foot ethernet cords for 62 firings i made it for about $130 works for what i need

I literally feel like a stereotypical American right now. I'm eating hot dogs for lunch and watching a fireworks display for Memorial Day. I love it! LOL OK I'm sorry but if I paid $200 or whatever for one of those cases of miniature 200g cakes and a whole ton of those cakes had crossettes, I would be PISSED as all hell! Crossettes are such a cheap and crappy effect in my opinion; there has to be a million of them in order to not look right, and none of the maufacturers in China seem to know how to make them like that any more. :L You guys were lucky you weren't closer to that shell when it decided to fire. It could have easily injured one of you guys had you been closer! o_O

daexarayan if its on private property you should be good. ive heard through daves forum. some townships will ask if you have home insurance and that is usually enough. now go get that type 54 for next season.

if i were you i would just stick a ematch in the entire roll(s) of perchlorate quickmatch, hook it up, push the button, be done with it and get some good quickmatch. would never risk so many misfires on purpose.
