Excellent! Good way to spend Good Friday! Beautiful setting and some nice catches. That scenery reminds me of some of the waters I fished when I lived in Virginia. Always great to be out there in those kinds of surroundings. Well done. I think I’m gonna try the traditional spinner bait with a white skirt for some of these redfish. Should work. Good luck ahead! It is, especially when the delta is flooded in the winter and spring. Launch needs just a little more parking now.

For the Mobile area you have MBKFA and Mobtown. MBKFA is inshore saltwater and Mobtown does the bass fishing side of things. MBKFA has more sponsorship but charges a membership fee to fish their events and Mobtown was free this past season. Both are good clubs to get in.

@@raybrdjr yes, both clubs allow electric motors. Or they did this past year. I know Mobtown will allow them next year and I assume MBKFA will as well. MBKFA is going to a new board of directors but I dont expect much to change as far as motor rules. Mobtown is artificial lures only and MBKFA allows live bait in some tournaments. You’ll need a ketch board if you decide to do any of the tournaments. I recommend practicing taking good fish photos before next year. Making sure the fish’s mouth is fully closed is a big one that gets a lot of new guys.
