I do. I purchased Red very quickly because even way back then I called the adpocalypse. I knew that all these giant advertisers were starting to grab KZbin by the balls and that KZbin Red was supposed to be the way to escape their influence. If everyone who used KZbin got Red, KZbin would be 100% self-sufficient and wouldn't need to rely on bowing down to corporations for money. But what ended up happening? Everyone WHINED that KZbin would even offer a premium service as an OPTION, and then what followed next? Years of corporate influence and eventual censorship as KZbin tries to appease those advertisers. And then everyone has the audacity to be shocked at all of the bad changes KZbin has made since then. We had the opportunity to prevent of all of this from happening. But as usual, the internet focused its effort on whining instead of putting their money where their mouth is. (which is particularly sad considering how cheap Red is. A whole whopping 26 fucking CENTS a day) And by the way, Red never went away. They just renamed it to Premium. I know because I've kept my subscription this entire time.

Honestly I really wanted to like this show. I really did. I'm a huge fan of the Grumps and everything they do, but damn was this a dud. A ton of the jokes barely land, most, if not all of the characters feel flat, and the story is really bare bones. It's the most underdog story you could imagine. Some of the comedy works. But it's mainly little one liners that Dan or Arin say. The rest of the cast seem like strange character traits just made into a character without giving them anymore depth than that. Then there's the game that they play. I swear, if you cut together a video of all the screen time that this game gets in the entire show you wouldn't even have a full minute of footage. It's ridiculous. They keep referring to the game the entire show since it's literally the center piece. The most you ever really find out is that this game is a Moba and that it's Hard. I've watched the show twice and that's the extent that I know. They even have Dan, the guy who literally knows nothing about the central plot, until they have to explain it, and they barely even explain it to him. Like, it's the perfect opportunity to tell anyone who doesn't play Mobas how they work. You can get a pretty good idea if you play games like League of Legends, but if not then you're screwed. Just from watching the trailer you can basically figure out the entire plot of the show. "A rag tag group of gamers get together and form an Esports team. Despite all the odds against them, they manage to stick it out in the end and pull off the win at the big tournament." The only thing I left out is a twist to the ending that still brought no depth to the show. It's just a slight change to how you think it would happen. But nothing changes, it's not anymore satisfying to watch. It feels like an awkward high school play with some okay acting and humor that only sometimes lands. If they continue this show (because with as open as an ending as they had they totally could) I hope they improve the writing of the show more than anything.

Well, it's dependent on what country you live in, but in some where you can't get a subscription, you can still buy episodes and/or movies individually. It can be more expensive this way, but it's better than nothing, I suppose. I think people are more against the idea of KZbin using Danny and Arin as a cash grab to get dumb fans to watch a lazy and poorly written show. KZbin red hasn't brought a single good show or idea to the table and no one has any reason to think otherwise. Just because two well known faces are associated with something doesn't make it good. People already dislike it, not because it's not a new episode of paper Mario, but because it's KZbin red.
