Great set of games. I played Navegador online last year and immediately acquired it. Shipyard is an interesting one too. I am looking forward to your rondel list (and cube rails) when you get to that.

I'm honestly not sure it is, I think I've just front-loaded all the editing work to the building of OBS templates. I'm still enjoying it all though, so that's what's important :)

If you consider Kraftwagen to be a rondell game, you also have to look at Glen More and to Praga Caput Regni. Before Mac Geerts made Navegador he published Hamburgum, which is also a true rondell game similar to Navegador. I tried to get a copy of Hamburgum here in Germany, but since it is out of print it is impossible without paying horrendous prices.

Agreed about the door Kraftwagen would open up for the list. It also brings up other games like Nova Luna and Patchwork, though those have actual tiles to lay instead of tiles to activate actions. Hamburgum is on my medium list to try before I make the list, but I'm not confidant I'll get a game together on TTS in a reasonable amount of time. It may happen, though from what I've read I'm not expecting anything particularly surprising from the rondel mechanic in that game.

I won a game of The Field of the Cloth of Gold by staying on a lower VP track until the end and letting all of my gold tiles remain at a high value, which vaulted me into victory, so it can be done.

Have you played Hamburgum? It’s another rondel game similar to navegador but it’s a larger board.
