A noob snowboarder going to whistler is much worse than a noob golfer going to Augusta (something I'm sure has happened many times).... You can get seriously hurt at whistler. Take a lesson to unlock the fun! Lessons seem expensive but are even more valuable than golf lessons. 😊

If you are just going for the first time, Hailey, you want to go skiing, not snowboarding. Day one on a snowboard you will send entirely on your behind (smacking down on it). It's fine, but not really much fun. Day one on skis and you will be moving down the mountain with relative ease! 😊 This from someone who has learned both and did spend day one on my butt. If you must snowboard, get the butt pad. You will thank me later. 🎉🎉
