Add him as a Good Good athlete. He doesn’t have to be an owner of the company since he’s just coming in now but he could be a sponsored Good Good creator and work on videos with you guys with some form of regularity. Like for example when Matt’s back is injured Moe steps in until Matt is healthy. Just a thought, gotta get Moe’s calf muscles some more air time 🤣

The courses they play are very hard. A scratch handicapper is expected to shoot par on a course with a 113 slope. These courses are all 130-150 and rated as high as 75 or even more sometimes. Put them all on a course with a 113 rating and see how low they go.

Someone raised a good point, they play OB as lateral hazard, they play preferred lies, they take gimmes and play short par 4s from driveable distance. Add those extra 5-6 shots on per round from those and you end up with more accurate handicaps. I think all these guys are single digits 100% but not that low. Except maybe brad

Regarding handicaps, keep in mind that you guys play a lot of preferred lies, conceded putts, and technically illegal drops for unmarked hazards or OB. If you feel like your numbers are lower than expected - this is probably part of the reason. Not a complaint, just an observation about why the numbers surprise you. That stuff can easily add up to 3-5 shots.
@bradwolszon4518
@bradwolszon4518 5 ай бұрын
True, but since they’re all playing that way, it was good enough to handicap each other for this video. They would not want to bring those numbers to a legit competition though.

Playing everything as lateral, gimmies, scrambles etc. The GHIN results might be a little generous. ;) I'm loving the requirement to putt everything out in this major, by the way. It makes a difference - as McIlroy found out this week..

If every single of them play the same way it really has no factor playing against each other, it only matters playing against other players that do. I have never seen anybody retee on a lost ball outside of a real tournament, pace of play is already slow enough.

That’s why their handicaps are all way lower than they should be. Bubbie would shoot 100 playing everything down

Nice to see Steve throwing some darts & being focused enough to win a challenge. :) Who can have a chat with Bubbie? Someone could do with having a cheeky wee sit-down chat with him about committing to some kind of tuition/coaching & practise regime. We all know (including Bubbie himself) that he has the capability to play some great golf, & we would all enjoy seeing him get closer to his potential. As with pretty much everything in life tho, it's not going to happen without sustained work. That tuition/coaching doesn't need to be on camera for content either - I'd be fine with just seeing him hitting progressively better shots in GG vids over the next year, & getting happier as it happens. ;)

I understand the handicap system well. There is no way any of them are those handicaps. Brad might be but going down the line, it gets less believable

Glad to see you have finally got handicaps!!! The end of the video I thought you were going to reveal the real handicaps. Tough watch as always the past few months. Its embarrassing the amount of time and opportunities you guys have to get better. Steve is the only that has improved and he doesn't even take it serious.
