Not only is there a fantastic interviewee with a massive amount of information to put forth, the interviewer is asking the perfect questions. Thanks for the upload!

Thank you for giving us this up-close interview with Charles Duhigg.. I've read his book.. and I am amazed that it has already started to change my life.. the power of keystone habits was the biggest takeaway that I found in this book.. Waking up at exactly 5am in the morning now is becoming easier and easier.. and I've found that I've been more productive..

I'm reading the book now. By page 93 (part 1) I had discovered several insights into several habits I wanted to change. I found the interview really helped increase my comprehension. Thanks, Jonathan!

I know this was forever ago, but I just have to say GREAT interview-er AND interview-ee. Really enjoyable to listen to and watch and so nice to have an in depth discussion instead of 3-6 minutes on NPR, the Today Show or Ellen....

In my opinion this book is totally worth its price. This guy provides great examples backed by science and a lot of research with scientists, sociologists, psychologists, etc.

My gosh what a great guy he is! - one thing to read the book and one thing is getting to know the author through video. What a lovely taste of mouth was to watch him talk about his book which I totally recommend. After knowing what's written in those pages it feels as if you had a super power.

Great interview - really enjoyed the laid back easy going format. Well done. Not so sure the evidence supports the view that AA enjoys great success. Last I heard the Cochrane systematic review found no evidence that AA was successful.

I love your interviews.... and this one in particular (I love this book!). I would really like to share your videos with my community.... but, most of my community are Deaf, so I only share videos with good quality captions. Unfortunately the auto-generated ones are often confusing and misleading.... have you ever watched one of your own videos with the captions on and the sound off? Editing the captions to make them comprehensible is actually really easy in the KZbin video manager (even I can do it, and I'm not techy at all!) I would really love to see the high quality content on your channel made accessible to the Deaf community (this would also be helpful to the huge numbers of people who are Hard of Hearing, or who have English as a second or subsequent language). Any chance of this happening?

Maybe people stop using their credit card as often because they have found an activity that occupies them instead of mindless consumption. That makes sense to me.

how would one change the habit of porn and masturbation?? how would one get the same mind blowing reward??
@gggrrr009 жыл бұрын
grab the sky The answer is in truly understanding that doing those activities you mention as a regular part of your life, long term - this is exactly the reason why you are alone, and have little chance meeting a quality person. In fact, wide spread porn and masturbation is really the reason why there's legions of single 30 something men walking cluelessly around..

Didn't even watch a minute of this video. Will summarize it up easily. It's a psychological game. Narrow the essentials down to 2 important factors and go at that critical angles until success is produced. All else, classified and organized it as something else. For example, people are either positive or negative. Anything else, if it's not positive, then surely it is negative. This is how you deal with people on a broad basis. Another example in academic, it's about accuracy and a grand idea. Everything else can be classified as more of accuracy or contribution to the grand idea. In relationship, it's joy and accomplishment. Now onto habit. It is to be broken by seeing the whole picture, what it does to you psychologically. And to establish one, what you're getting out of it or where it leads to. Done. That's the whole book or interview in a nutshell without even watching more than 20 seconds of this thing.
