Thinking of Lesley Gore, I was really happy that she got one last hit before she passed away. She had early hits in the 60's with 'It's My Party' and 'You Don't Own Me' then spent the rest of her life in the music business without much reward for it. She got work but not a lot of recognition. But a song she wrote and sang caught on after it was shown on CSI Miami. For those of you interested, take a look here on youtube for 'Better Angels'.
