Yes, every weasel the Palain draws was played by Thijs first. That means at any given point Thijs has played more useless cards and lost more value than his opponent. Having a dead draw so your opponent can eventually have a dead draw is not value.

Wikthillidan Arthpedia Thijs only played 2 weasels legitimately , the rest of them were generated by other cards. So while thijs did technically draw two useless cards at the begining he didn't have to draw all the weasels he put in the opponent deck, which is why is a valid strategy. He crippled the opponent without having to cripple himself too much.
